I tried installing heavy IDEs but my system is lagging. I want to know if there is a lightweight or online alternative.

You definitely do not need a high-end laptop to practice HTML and CSS. Basic web development requires very little computing power.
Instead of heavy IDEs like Visual Studio Code or heavy alternatives, try ultra-lightweight editors like Notepad++ or Sublime Text.

No, you do not need an expensive laptop. HTML and CSS are very light and work smoothly on any basic computer.
If your system is slow, you can use 'CodePen' right in your web browser without installing anything
